God has never shown up unannounced. In fact, when God shows up, He was already proceeded by His Word. All through out the bible, God has always chosen to reveal Himself by His Words. His first demonstration of Himself was to say let there be light. If God was trying to hide Himself, He would have declared darkness. Oddly, there are many erroneous things being said about His nature. These things will erode our image of Him in our minds. It is by this erosion the enemy causes us to miss His purpose and presence in our life. Simply, we say things about Him and attribute things to God that are not true.
