Sunday Jun 27, 2021
Were you aware God has a command for us to be perfect? When we hear the Word of Lord is this way, we will try to dismiss or comfort ourselves by saying nobody's perfect. Yet, this is the command of Christ to be perfect just as your Father in heaven is perfect. Although this command my seem impossible, it is important to know God has already made you perfect in Christ. The command to be perfect is translated as to mature or to grow up in your perfection in Christ. When we see the principle behind perfection, we produce the image of Christ. Take a moment to hear this message. It will transform your spiritual life. - Pastor

Extraordinary
Sunday Jun 27, 2021
Sunday Jun 27, 2021
As we celebrated Father's Day at HPC, we stopped to consider the earthly father of Jesus in the man we call Joseph. When was the last time you heard a message about him? This is due in part of the scripture itself. There is not one verse in the bible that is a quote of Joseph and few verses that purposes to define his life. Simply, there is little to say about him. We are left with little information and some speculation. After some careful consideration, we could say Joseph is an ordinary man. But once we stop to consider the fact that God chose him to be the earthly father to Jesus, we can begin to see his life as God saw him. Take a moment to listen to this message. It will help you see how ordinary people become extraordinary. - Pastor

Sunday Jun 27, 2021
Sunday Jun 27, 2021
In the series entitled "From The Inside Out", we stop to hear about a radical transformation. Let me start by saying the greatest promise of God toward man is the promise of the Holy Ghost. I can't think of anything greater than the gift of the Holy Spirit. Among the many workings of the Spirit of God, He desires to renew our mind. The scripture reveals the ability of the new man to possess the mind of Christ. Yet, the mind of Christ is not automatic. It is by choice. Would you like to have the mind of Christ? If so, you can be transformed. Transformation is the action of God revealing to you His mind, heart, and will through the Spirit. In fact, you will know all things, and namely, His will. Take a moment to hear this message. It will transform your mind and life in Christ. - Pastor

We had an awesome day in the Lord! The Spirit inspired our worship and the Word. In fact, something was said today that needs to be said again. Listen to this. Could you look Jesus in face, while on the cross, and complain about your current situation? Are you looking at your situation or difficulty through the cross? It is our central focus. In today's message entitled "Where Do You Belong", we stopped to examine some important questions. Daniel Ramos, III, our Young Adults Pastor, posed some questions for the family of faith and I believe you will need to hear this message again and again. Take a moment to ask where you belong. Are you made by the situations or circumstances of life or are you made for the situation or circumstances in life? Does that question move you? The Elephant In The Room
Wednesday Jun 02, 2021
Wednesday Jun 02, 2021
On this Pentecost Sunday, we stopped to examine the upper room. We all know the disciples were all in one accord, but we seldom examine the emphasis of unity in their togetherness. It is an important examination of their assembly to note their harmony with God. As we all know, how can two walks together except they be agreed. Right before the Spirit fell in the upper room, Peter decided to address the elephant in the room. This decision created a space for the outpouring of God's promise. How can there be an upper room experience if there is an elephant in the room? In other words, how can there be harmony with the disciples after the failure of one called Judas. Peter takes the much-needed time to address the failure of Judas for the purpose of creating harmony between man and God. Take a moment to watch this message. It addresses the place of failure(s) with God to create room for the outpouring of the Holy Ghost. Be blessed as you hear the Word of God preached. - Pastor

Breakfast By The Beach
Sunday May 16, 2021
Sunday May 16, 2021
As a kid growing up the 70's, I heard eating Wheaties in the morning was the breakfast of champions. I am not sure of the validity of their claim but we all know breakfast is the most important meal of day. Did you know there is a spiritual breakfast that produces a championship mentality in us? In this message, we investigate the reinstatement of Peter after the resurrection of Christ and their subsequent reunion on the beach in St. John 21:1-17. Jesus had tried on numerous occasions to teach Peter the most valuable meal in Christianity. In fact, it is the first and most important meal to eat. It is the meal of humility. Eating the meal of humility produces in us the ability to depend and wait on God. Could I encourage you to listen to this message and consider what the Spirit of the Lord is saying to you? What you will hear will change your life.

Don't Talk To Strangers
Sunday May 02, 2021
Sunday May 02, 2021
We are admonished by the scriptures to remember what our belief in God is founded upon. It is simple. Faith, hope, and love compromise our faith in God. Paul said that these three remain. While giving us the greatest exposition of love in the 13th chapter of I Corinthians, Paul said he wanted to be known by these three attributes. These three foundational truths abide in the all-knowing, all-powerful, and all-present God. With these truths, we can walk in complete faith, love, and hope. Take a moment to hear this message entitled "Don't Talk To Strangers". There is a great lesson in life. This message speaks to our hope and confidence in God. Be blessed as you hear the Word of God preached.

Living In His Resurrection Series-"Be Blessed"
Sunday May 02, 2021
Sunday May 02, 2021
I am blessed! I am sure you feel the same. It is somewhat of an oddity to hear Christians say they are pursuing the blessings of God. The scripture declares our blessing from the beginning. By faith, we begin as blessed people. We are the blessed of the Lord. In the early passages of your bible, God made a covenant with Abraham. This covenant was not only about a son but it was an oath to produce a blessing so grand that through Abraham and his seed all the nations of the world would be blessed through him. Think about that. Because we believe in faith, we become heirs to this mighty covenant through faithful Abraham. This blessing has a pronounced effect upon our faith. Take a moment to hear this message. You might be surprised to hear what the blessing is for.
